In October 2024, we inspected the homeowner's roof and identified storm damage from a recent storm in Acworth, Georgia. We helped the homeowner successfully file a claim with USAA, which covered the cost of the roof replacement. We removed the old roofing materials and installed new Atlas Pinnacle Pristine shingles in Burnt Hickory, along with Atlas Pro-Cut hip and ridge shingles and Atlas Trueridge ridge ventilation for optimal airflow. We also added Atlas Synthetic Felt "Summit 60" underlayment, Atlas Weathermaster leak barriers, and new pipe flashings. The installation included brown-colored drip edges on all eaves and rakes, step flashing replacement, and repairs to damaged roof decking. We painted all roof hardware to match the new materials and took care to protect the homeowner’s landscaping, pool, and deck during the project. After completing a thorough clean-up, including rolling for nails, we provided a 5-year workmanship warranty for steep slope areas and an 10-year workmanship warranty option for the homeowner.
